A viral report spread across the internet in late May 2025, which claimed that Adam Sandler had testified in Diddy's ongoing s*x trafficking trial.

However, the claim is reported as false, as confirmed by Snopes. The rumor originated from viral videos that began circulating in May on social media platforms like Facebook, YouTube, TikTok and X. The video, which was shared on YouTube by Hot Goss Today, was titled:

“Minute Ago: Adam Sandler testifies in Court on Day 14 of Diddy trial”

The video claimed that it was about the actor’s testimony on Day 13 of the rapper’s trial. The narrator in the video says:

“It was Day 13 of the federal trial against Sean “Diddy” Combs when the courtroom doors opened to a face no one expected – Adam Sandler, the beloved comedian, known for his affable charm and iconic roles wasn’t there to deliver the punchlines. He was there to share his experience.”

However, there are no media reports or courtroom evidence to prove that Sandler was present during the rapper’s court proceedings. Hence, these claims are false as confirmed by Snopes. Also, a disclaimer presented at the beginning of the video also justified that the video was solely for entertainment purposes.

What do we know about Diddy’s ongoing trial? Here are the details

Recent updates in Diddy’s ongoing trial

The trial in Sean Combs' case has entered its fourth week now. The rapper has been accused of s*x trafficking by force, transportation to engage in prostitution, and racketeering conspiracy as part of the indictment filed in September 2024.

According to a report in NBC News, Eddy Garcia, a former hotel security officer, testified in court on Tuesday, June 3, 2025. He recalled the incident at the InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles, where the Bad Boy Records founder allegedly attacked his girlfriend, Casandra Ventura, and it was captured by the security cameras in March 2016.

He told the court that Diddy and his team desperately wanted to get the sole copy of the video and that his boss sold the footage of the attack to the singer for $50,000.

He told the court that after he confirmed that it was the only copy of the video, he handed him $100,000 in a paper bag and asked him to sign a nondisclosure agreement, which called for his silence and destruction of the evidence.

Derek Ferguson, a financial executive for Bad Boy Entertainment, also testified in court. He recounted how he helped Combs manage his finances. He revealed how, at times, he handled both his business and personal transactions.

During his testimony, he stated that he held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Bad Boy Entertainment from 1998 to 2012 and subsequently served as Chief Operating Officer at Revolt TV.

Reportedly, Frank Piazza, a forensic video expert, and Bryana Bangolan are expected to testify in court against Diddy on June 4, 2025.
