Day 9 of Sean 'Diddy' Combs' trial was wrapped up on May 22, 2025. According to CNN, the jury has reportedly heard the testimony of 16 witnesses to date. A video uploaded on YouTube on the WhatIsMyStarWorth claimed that Jay-Z testified during the ongoing Diddy sex trafficking trial. While the video opens with a disclaimer that it is for "educational and entertainment purposes only," viewers were left confused if Jay-Z was one of the witnesses.

According to news outlets, including CNN and USA Today, no official information indicated that Jay-Z is one of the witnesses. The video titled "1 MINUTE AGO: Jay-Z Confronts Diddy in Court, "I'm Not Taking the Fall for You"..." is digitally manipulated and does not portray real events. On further inspection, the channel has many videos fabricating testimonies during the trafficking trial. Other celebrities shown in the videos include Joe Rogan, 50 Cent, Wendy Williams, Samuel L. Jackson, and many others.

No, Jay-Z has not testified during the ongoing Diddy sex trafficking trial. Videos on the WhatIsMyStarWorth channel are only for "entertainment" purposes, and "viewer discretion is strongly advised." The video describes a fabricated narrative of Jay-Z's testimony in which he seemingly said,

"Yes, I was invited to Diddy's events. Yes, I attended, but let me be clear, what I saw and what I was told were two very different realities."

While the video made multiple claims, none have been supported by official evidence. The most recent individuals who testified on Day 9 of the trial included rapper Kid Cudi and Combs and Cassie Ventura's former makeup artist, Mylah Morales, per CNN. Apart from the primary witness, Cassie Ventura, others include Cassie's mother, Combs' former assistant, George Kaplan, psychologist Dawn Hughes, and Frederic Zemmour, manager of the L'Ermitage Hotel also provided their testimony.

Jay-Z's name had previously been linked to Combs in 2024 after an anonymous person filed a lawsuit against the rapper for allegedly raping her. The lawsuit was dropped in February 2025, during which Jay-Z's attorney told the media,

"Mr. Carter has nothing to do with Mr. Combs’ case or Mr. Combs."

While celebrity names, including Jay-Z and Usher, are circulating on the Internet and whether they will provide testimony, no official information has been provided. Over the past few weeks, the WhatIsMyStarWorth channel has uploaded multiple fabricated testimony videos, none of which have found evidence.
