Diddy’s ex-escort shares heartfelt message to Cassie after breaking silence on alleged ‘freak offs’

One of the escorts named in Diddy’s trial has spoken out in an exclusive interview with People Magazine. Prosecutors showed Shawn Dearing’s photo to the jury as one of the several men that Diddy allegedly forced Cassie Ventura to have sexual relations with.

Sean Diddy Combs was arrested on September 16, 2024, and is facing charges of racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation for prostitution. Cassie Ventura has testified about how she was forced to engage in long drug-fueled sex parties known as freakoffs by her former boyfriend, Combs.

The identity of the escorts was revealed in court, and one of them, known as The Punisher, testified on May 20, 2025, that he was hired to create “sexy, erotic scenes” with Cassie Ventura while a naked man, whom he later discovered to be Combs, watched from a corner.

Shawn Dearing shared with the news outlet that Ventura was a kind person:

"She was so uplifting — the kindest and most respectful person. She was genuine throughout the whole experience."

The former escort expressed that he decided to speak out because his identity had already been revealed to the public, and he wanted to corroborate Ventura’s story in some way:

“I never wanted to open my mouth. I don't seek attention. I don’t want to go out there and make it seem like I’m trying to get my name known off of this experience."

Dearing continued in his praise of the R&B singer, stating that he wanted what was best for her:

“You got me tearing up! I want what’s best for her, honestly, because she … she's a badass lady, man. She's awesome. So I want her respect first and foremost.”

The former male escort also told People Magazine that the identities of Combs and Ventura were kept secret from him prior to his meeting them in late 2014 or early 2015. He added that Garren James, the founder of Cowboy4Angels, the agency he worked with at the time, had only revealed to him that his clients were A-listers.

Dearing further claimed that he was hired for more than a dozen sessions held at either The Beverly Hills Hotel or a Condo on Sunset Boulevard, which he believed was owned by Ventura.

Dearing stated that while Diddy never touched him during their sexual encounters, he controlled the entire activity. He also alleged that he noticed some form of “psychological abuse” in the relationship dynamic between Combs and Ventura.

Ventura, in her testimony on May 14, 2025, claimed that she knew Shawn Dearing as “Skyler” and had met him through the website Cowboys4Angels. The "Me & U" hitmaker stated that Dearing was one of the several escorts hired through the site.
