Sean “Diddy” Combs’ intake photo from FCI Fort Dix, a low-security prison in New Jersey, has recently surfaced online.

The photograph, which has been obtained by CBS News, shows the Bad Boy Records founder in a brown shirt with a serious expression and grey hair. This is his first picture which has been released since his incarceration.

Before being transferred to the current prison, he was held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York. He has been kept here since his arrest in September last year.

Diddy was transferred to Fort Dix on October 30 to serve a 50-month sentence. He has been convicted of two counts of transportation for prostitution and sentenced to over four years in prison.

According to BBC, this means that the former record producer was found guilty of transporting his former girlfriend Cassie Ventura and an anonymous woman referred to as “Jane” both of whom testified in the trial.

All we know as Diddy’s intake photo from FCI Fort Dix surfaces amid legal issues

Netizens have been shocked ever since CBS News exclusively released the photography of Diddy from FCI Fort Dix.

They were quick to point out that the rapper looked older than he did before, while others wondered if he dyed his hair. Some had a hilarious take on his picture, making comparisons to Bill Cosby, Fredrick Douglass, and Charles Oakley.

Diddy’s publicist, Juda Engelmayer, informed that he is currently working as a chaplain’s assistant. His work typically involves maintaining the chaplain’s religious library, cleaning their office and helping with record-keeping. He has described the environment as warm and respectful. The rapper receives certain privileges as part of his assignment, such as working in a private, air-conditioned office.

He is also enrolled in a drug rehab program, which might help to reduce his May 2028 release date. Reports suggest that the musician has also been facing disciplinary action for making an unauthorized phone call from New Jersey prison.

According to a report on CBS News, Diddy made a three-person call on November 3, 2025, in violation of prison rules. During the call, he reportedly spoke with a woman about arranging weekend visitors and suggested they bring cash. He then requested that she connect him to someone he referred to as a “digital person.”

He informed the officials that he had made the phone call to discuss with his legal team the issuance of a statement to The New York Times. He said that he was first speaking to his attorney first who then added the head of legal communications to the call.

Police officials have recommended suspending Diddy’s phone and commissary privileges for 90 days as a penalty.

In U.S. federal prisons, multi-person phone calls are strictly prohibited due to security concerns. These involve the potential for coordinating criminal activities, such as drug smuggling, gang violence or witness intimidation. According to CBS News, there are currently over 4,100 inmates at FCI Fort Dix.

A few days ago, TMZ reported that Diddy was caught drinking homemade alcohol in Fort Dix prison. It was reportedly made by fermenting Fanta, sugar and apples for about two weeks, which is a common prison recipe for alcohol.
