Thursday, May 29, 2025, marked day 12 of Combs' trial, and the court heard testimony from Diddy's former assistant, Mia. As per People, during her testimony in the court, Mia recalled a 2013 incident when Combs was allegedly hitting Cassie.
The incident was previously narrated in Cassie. and the former stylist Deonte Nash's testimony as well. Mia told the court that she realized they were in real danger when Diddy allegedly threw her and Deonte off his back when they tried to stop him from hitting Cassie. She also described her working environment with Sean as being allegedly toxic, as her role included analyzing Sean's mood each day. As per CNN, Mia also said that sometimes Combs would treat her like a best friend and other times he would allegedly be violent towards her, insult and humiliate her in front of others.
Mia also testified that Diddy had allegedly sexually assaulted her multiple times. She said the first instance took place on Diddy's 40th birthday in New York, and another at his Los Angeles home. She also mentioned two other instances that took place at his Los Angeles home where he allegedly r*ped her.
Mia also mentioned how she could never say 'no' to Diddy for anything, and her dynamic with him allegedly had no boundaries. She said that the instances of sexual assault allegedly happened when Combs did not have a girlfriend around. Explaining the court of her fear, she said:
''He would fire me and ruin my future and somehow twist the story into making me look like a threat.''
She also told the court that she allegedly didn't know if she could report the sexual assaults to the police and described them as
"The most traumatizing, the worst thing that’s ever happened."
The trial is expected to continue with testimonies from others in the coming days. Diddy has been held in federal custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn since his arrest in September 2024, and if convicted of all charges, he could face life imprisonment.
