Elon Musk's daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson, recently made an appearance at RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars party in New York City, where she was seen showcasing her dance moves on the floor. After Angeria Paris VanMichaels won the last season, the show returned for its 10th season on May 9 and pits 18 drag queens against each other for the prize.
Elon Musk and his daughter haven't always seen eye to eye on certain matters, and the two have been at loggerheads over their stance on gender identity issues. Fresh off a public spat with her father, Vivian made her way over to the party and was spotted shaking a leg in a clip that has now gone viral on social media. She was seen having a great time at the party, even as she was cheered on by onlookers.
The clip was also shared by users on social media who were amused to see her dance moves and shared their opinions on the social media platform X:
One fan quipped:
"It’s better than Britney though, am I right? That dance battle would go hard"
Another fan joked:
"He’s gonna have Elon singing Kanye’s new song on repeat fr"
Another fan chimed in:
"Looks like a toddler dancing"
While Vivian's dance moves were appreciated by some, others took the opportunity to poke fun at her.
One fan commented:
"He really thought he was doin sum with those hair twirls"
Another fan wrote:
"I don't want to make fun of him or Elon. However, the fact that he keeps trying to gain fame by attacking his dad is cringe."
Another remarked:
"WHY can't some people mind they own business, shes just dancing, not promoting anything.....chill guys and let other live"
Vivian has been vocal about her support for the LGBTQ+ community, and in an interview with Teen Vogue, she has previously expressed her desire to engage in drag. In the interview, she admitted how much she likes RuPaul’s Drag Race and reported some of her favourite drag queens:
"Sasha Colby is the legend, the icon herself. As a trans woman myself, seeing a trans woman like her on the screen who exhibits so much power, radiance, and beauty is so completely awe-inspiring. She has such an important drag family, and she’s such a pillar in the trans community, which is something I really look up to. I’m literally crying. She is mother. She is a goddess.”
She then went on to add Bob the Drag Queen and Bianca Del Rio to the list to round up her top three:
"I kind of love insult comedy, so I’m gonna have to put my three as Bianca Del Rio."
While Vivian's love and admiration for RuPaul's Drag Race is well known, she has also used the platform to throw barbs at her father, Elon Musk, especially as the relationship between the two has become increasingly strained over the years. Vivian publicly came out as a transgender person in 2021, and she has used her public appearances to cement herself as a champion of the drag and LGBTQ+ community.
