James Stephen Donaldson, popularly known as MrBeast, is celebrating another milestone in his YouTube journey. Apart from owning the most-followed channel on YouTube, he now has 400 million subscribers on the channel as of June 1, 2025.

This marks a significant milestone in the history of YouTube, solidifying James' presence in the online industry. MrBeast has been able to achieve this in less than a decade, while his first videos were released in 2017.

According to reported statistics, the channel had approximately 300 million subscribers in 2024, which would mean that it gained more than 100 million subscribers in over a year's time.

Dexerto took to its channel to confirm the achievement. Fans and followers took to the comment section and expressed their excitement. One user (@datareaper3319) wrote,

"No one is bigger then him."

Another user (@Bradheat) expressed awe at how far the YouTuber has been able to come. He added photos from James' channel approximately six years ago. He wrote,

"Seems like just yesterday he hit 5 million. Time flies fr."

MrBeast's YouTube channel has surpassed all other accounts, with T-Series (295 million subscribers) and CocoMelon (193 million subscribers) following on the list. From launching Feastables to MrBeast Games and ongoing challenges for his streamers, James has kept his audience hooked.

In other news, the YouTuber recently celebrated his 27th birthday on May 7. As part of his grand celebrations, James announced that he would be giving $500,000 to 10 lucky winners! Additionally, for another challenge for his streamers, he partnered with the best celebrities, including Neymar and Selena Williams, for a 1v1 challenge.

Fans showered congratulatory messages on James and wondered when he would hit 500 million. From 2017 to 2025, his YouTube channel has grown significantly bigger, and the numbers don't appear to slow down.
