Kanye West is widely known for his ramblings on X and his antisemitic remarks. On May 8, he released a song titled Heil Hitler.
The song included many men wearing animal pelts and masks and chanting the title of the song, while Kanye raps about his custody battle with his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian. While the song was banned from streaming sites like YouTube, Apple Music, and Spotify for its offensive content, it did receive around 10 million views on X, as per Business Standard.
On Thursday, Ye shared a post on X saying 'share peace,' to which fans and netizens have reacted differently. This is what some of them said:
''This is nonsense''- added @bmsquamtum
''What happened to all the hate and Hitler jargon?''- added @dropgenius
Some netizens dropped sarcastic reactions and questioned if Ye had gotten help.
''whoa? Kanye got some help?!?!?!''- penned @fateiscrypto03
Some fans were guessing that the post hinted at a new song or album
''Drop the album kanye''- commented @BadmanDafe
While some fans agreed with Kanye. This is what they said:
''Let's make peace, not war.''- said @EddyMetaX
These were some of the reactions Kanye's recent post on X received. Kanye has been quite vocal about his antisemitic views. In February, Kanye was sued and dropped by his talent agency after he posted a stream of antisemitic abuse on social media.
On his online shop, he was selling T-shirts that featured a black swastika, and the products were labeled HH-01, presumed to be Heil Hitler, which is also the title of the song he released in May 2025. Shopify responded to this action of Kanye by shutting down his online store for violating their terms.
Kanye also allegedly described himself as Hitler to a Jewish employee and faced lawsuits alleging wrongful termination and religious discrimination, as per The Guardian. These were some of the instances of Kanye's antisemitic remarks.
Kanye released his visual demo album, Bully and Cuck (formerly titled WW3), in March 2025, both of which were criticized for their controversial themes.
