Mattel Creations unveiled the Barbie x Doctor Who dolls at the MCM London Comic Con on Friday, May 23, 2025. The dolls were crafted in the likeness of the Fifteenth Doctor and Ruby Sunday, characters played by Ncuti and Millie Gibson.
The dolls’ outfits were inspired by the costumes worn by Gatwa and Gibson when they portrayed their respective characters in the 2024 British series Doctor Who. Ncuti's Barbie version is dressed in a striped shirt, blue pants, and a long brown jacket paired with white sneakers featuring colourful detailing.

In a special TikTok reaction video shared by Barbie's official account, Gatwa expresses his thoughts on the Barbie doll version of himself.
“Barbie is iconic, so to see a Barbie iteration of the Doctor was emotional, surreal, incredible, and I can't wipe the smile off my face. I hope kids out there enjoy the doll, see themselves in it, and think, 'I can do anything.'”
The Barbie dolls are going to be officially released on July 31, 2025, but they are currently available for pre-order on Amazon.
