Twitch streamer and internet personality Nick Fosco, popularly known as FaZe Lacy, reportedly responded to criticism over his use of AI on June 16. According to Dexerto, netizens had reportedly criticized Faze for using pictures for his social media posts using AI, instead of hiring an artist.
In a now-deleted post shared on his X channel, Lacy announced his stream with American football player Tyreek Hill. Users alleged that Lacy used AI to create images with his guests and slammed him in the comment section. Per Dexerto, the streamer has responded to the criticism on his Twitch stream and noted,
“All the people out there that are b*tching and complaining about people using AI, listen. I’m gonna keep it real. This poster looks great, and AI made it. Guess what, it got made in less than 30 seconds. It was free."
FaZe Lacy added,
"I didn’t have to pay someone $150 and wait a day and a half to get a f**kin poster made when I just asked AI to do it, bro."

FaZe Lacy's recent posts on social media have reportedly gained criticism for the use of AI over hiring artists. He added that he would continue using "AI" since it's "easier." He added,
