The 2026 Schiaparelli Haute Couture Show kicked off on a rainy Monday in Paris. Singers, including Cardi B, Karol G, and Dua Lipa, made their way to the show dressed in the French house's creative director, Daniel Roseberry's, custom couture. Cardi's plus one, a live crow, left onlookers amused as the I Like It singer posed in a dramatic gown with fringes.

Harper's Bazaar shared a glimpse of the show on their Instagram and added,

"Aptly titled “Back to the Future,” the presentation paid tribute to Elsa Schiaparelli, reinterpreting some of her most iconic 1930s creations—like the palm tree evening jacket and the Apollo of Versailles cape—with a bold, modern edge."

Celebrities reportedly "braved the rain" on the first day of the Schiaparelli 2026 Haute Couture Show in Paris. Dua Lipa made her debut in the front row for the French fashion house and wore a "white creature dress" Actors, including Euphoria's Hunter Schafer, Emily In Paris' actress, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, and Cooper Koch, were also spotted arriving at the show.

In an interview with Vogue Arabia published on July 7, Daniel Roseberry shed light on his inspiration behind the couture show. He described the show as one that carries the most "heritage" he has done so far. When asked about his initial feelings about the show, he said,

“It's a bit like seeing a storm approaching: impressive, intense, but terribly exciting. I can't wait to start the fittings.”

While describing the creative process, he revealed he "challenged" himself and his team. He added,

"By removing everything that's strictly modern, I hope the collection can be part of a movement towards the future, rather than falling into something retro or nostalgic.”

When asked about his thoughts on couture evolving in an AI-influenced world, he said,

"For me, couture must remain a profoundly human act. It's a bit like the old days: one or two people creating for one or two others. It's this intimate, artisanal and almost sacred dimension that I want to preserve."

He emphasized,

"I have no desire to integrate artificial intelligence into my creative process, any more than I wish to use synthetic materials."

Multiple celebrities donned haute couture for Daniel Roseberry's Back To The Future show. From Dua's debut in the front row to Cardi B's appearance with a live crow as an accessory, onlookers have much to look forward to during the fashion season.
