Twitch streamer Agr0ed recently went on an unconventional endeavor by calling out FaZe Clan's name over 100,000 times on his stream. Amid FaZe Clan's hunt for a new member to join the team, Agr0ed went to great lengths to capture the attention of the esports giant. The fruits of his labour were mixed, to say the least.

It all started with FaZe Banks challenging popular YouTuber MrBeast to say FaZe Clan a 100,000 on his stream in exchange for a spot on the roster. MrBeast didn't take up the challenge, but the post did inspire Agr0ed to rise to the occasion and give it a go. The streamer, who has 283 followers on Twitch, partook in the challenge over the course of the next 25 hours in a bid to catch FaZe Clan's attention.

The marathon effort didn't get the desired results, as it had a peak of 23 viewers and 11 viewers on average. It did catch the attention of FaZe staff members, however, as some of them joined the stream to egg Agr0ed on. It also caught the attention of fans on social media who came up with their own opinions on the matter:

"Gotta respect the hustle, even if it didn't pay off", commented one fan.
"Honestly, he’s not harming anyone and he’s just doing him, so more power to him. It’s a weird flex but let the man dream big", remarked another.
"Someone should do this but instead say “signal” 100000 times to try and get added to the next hegseth group chat", quipped another fan.

Another fan took to explaining the significance of the incident, except in Pokémon terms:

"Guys magikarp used splash on a rayquaza. He then screamed “get in the pokeball.” And didnt even throw one."

While some users on social media praised Agr0ed for his efforts, others mocked him for getting no returns on his bet. Although his attempt at joining FaZe Clan did not come to fruition, it did inspire some to launch their own streams. One fan argued that the time could've been put to better use elsewhere:

"He could’ve just played COD and have them recruit him based off his skill and not by glazing them"
"This method got patched after Mr. Beast" pointed out another.
"I’m ngl and I think @Banks will agree with me here. U spent your time saying FaZe Clan 100,000 times when u could have done something much more productive. ( videos, actual streaming segments) no hate but to make it as a creator or streamer something about u has to give “unique” I think Mr Beast also did the whole saying something a million times thing and he succeeded form that. Find your own niche @agr0ed" advised another fan.

Although Agr0ed's streaming session bore no immediate results, his efforts did catch the attention of fans on social media. The coverage of the incident has amplified the streamer's visibility, and he himself thanked the fans on social media for the recognition:

While FaZe Banks might not have been able to rope in MrBeast, he got the next best thing out of the interaction - engagement. Amid FaZe Clan's search for more members to join the community, we can expect more such incidents to play out in public in the near future.
