Halsey has updated fans that she is recovering after experiencing a "minor medical emergency" following her concert in Boston on Sunday night. The singer shared the news on Instagram early Monday to tell her followers that she had spent the night in the emergency room. However, she was feeling better and planned to perform her second Boston show as scheduled.

Halsey posted a photo of herself with a towel wrapped around her head via Instagram Stories, captioning:

"Boston I am gonna be honest with ya, after the show last night I was in the ER till 6 this morning. Minor medical emergency but I am A-Okay now and ready to rock tonight! but if I'm pacing myself, that's why! Huge shout out to Mass General and Dr Kian, Dr Victoria and my nurses Carolyn and Alicia for being the absolute best team I've ever met. "

The singer also added:

"And I second that with regard to the imaging staff, transport team, and patient relations!!! I am so so grateful! LETS ROCK TONIGHT!"

Halsey's hospitalization came amid her global Back to Badlands tour, which has been designed to celebrate the 10th anniversary of her beloved debut album Badlands (2015). The health scare initially worried fans. However, the artist's reassurance brought relief.

More on Halsey's health

It is worth noting that Halsey did not disclose the reason for her ER visit. However, the incident followed her recent medical updates. In September, she revealed on TikTok that she had undergone another round of chemotherapy and had a new port placed for treatment. She showed bandages on her chest and said,

"I just did another few sessions of chemo. Had a new port placed."

Halsey was first diagnosed with Lupus SLE and a T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder in 2022. She shared in a 2024 post:

"Both of which are currently being managed or in remission. After a rocky start, I slowly got everything under control with the help of amazing doctors."
