Young Thug apologized to GloRilla after insulting her looks during a leaked jail phone call, and netizens are giving their two cents on the matter. On September 4, 2025, an alleged phone conversation between the rapper and his girlfriend, Mariah The Scientist, began circulating on social media.

In the two-minute recording, the rapper calls GloRilla ugly and makes remarks about her “big head” and “big mouth”:

"Long a** bullsh*t a** wig, skinny sh*t, goddamn big a** head, big mouth… I would not pursue her, like at all… that sh*t ain’t nun.”

After the recording went viral on X, GloRilla seemingly responded to Young Thug with a tweet saying:

"Mind you dis da same n***a blowing my phone up to ask what color my eyes is lmaooo."

Young Thug took to X later to apologize to GloRilla for his mean statements about her. He backtracked on his earlier remarks, stating that he didn’t find her ugly at all:

“@GloTheofficial first of all, I’m sorry to u for my words, and I honestly don’t think ur ugly at all. I was speaking from jail, just having a hard time with life.. I don’t like bashing girls and hardly ever did. I’m sorry to u, twin.”
