According to WaterAid, Team Water is the “biggest campaign for clean water in the world.” The campaign is led by popular YouTuber MrBeast and former NASA engineer Mark Rober in collaboration with WaterAid. According to WaterAid, the project will ensure the availability of clean water in different communities across five continents. From Colombia's deserts to Bangladesh's mangrove forests, Team Water will provide access to clean water to over two million people for several decades.

“The work will be carried out in partnership with local communities, governments, partners and a whole host of people critical to delivering a sustainable supply of clean water, with specific projects in Bangladesh, Cambodia, Colombia, Mozambique, Nigeria and Rwanda, and by working with local partners to reach communities in Brazil, Kenya and the USA,” WaterAid official website explains.

Team Water is the third fundraising event organized by MrBeast and Mark Rober, following the first two events, Team Trees and Team Seas.
