Popular American influencer Emilie Kiser, who lost her 3-year-old son on May 18, has continued to update her followers on how she has been coping with grief. On Tuesday, October 14, 2025, Emilie took to he official Instagram story to share how she has been dealing with her loss.

“Started scrapbooking lately with my friends, and it's been fun to do, but also really, really hard.”

She explained how difficult it felt seeing a picture of her deceased child, adding that it felt like a punch to her gut.

She wrote:

“Printing out photos of the boys and seeing what our family looked like just 5 months ago feels like a punch to the gut.”

And added:

“I promised myself when Trigg passed away that I wouldn't avoid. I wouldn't avoid photos, videos, rooms, etc.”

Continuing the lengthy update on her story, Kiser told her followers that she understood that scrapbooking Trigg’s history would hurt, but she wouldn't stop. She only hoped that it would bring her closer to him.

“I knew it would only make things hurt worse in the long run, and I also never wanted to avoid looking at him or thinking about him.”

Emilie concluded:

“I hope this hobby can make me feel closer to him as I scrapbook his life and all the amazing memories that I cherish.”

Trigg, Emilie Kiser’s 3-year-old son, passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2025, at a hospital following a drowning incident that left the toddler unconscious. According to reports, Emilie wasn't at home when the incident happened, and Triggs was in the care of his father.

After taking a break from social media, Emilie Kiser recently shared a heartfelt statement expressing her gratitude to the followers who stood by her during a difficult time, offering her strength and comfort.

“I just wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for the love and support on my most recent post. I have been truly blown away by the love, comfort, and support.”

She added:

“I appreciate so many of you sharing your similar experiences and your own stories of how you have dealt with grief and loss.”

Emilie Kiser, also a mother to Theodore, talked about how her community gave her the strength to deal with her loss.

“The internet can be such a dark place, and in moments like this, I am reminded how much good there can be in the support and community that we can all give each other.”

She concluded:

“If anyone who follows me or reads this is dealing with loss, I just want to say that I am here for you and I hope you are getting the love and support you need.”
