Ishowspeed dropped a new track with an accompanying music video on June 16, 2025. Higher, by the popular YouTuber, is a song that declares the artist’s love for a woman as he promises to take her higher.
In the music video, Speed raps against the backdrop of skyscraper buildings, with one of them featuring a portrait of the Monalisa. The multi-hyphenate entertainer wears a white shirt and black pants in one shot and, in another, dispenses with a shirt as he raps bare-chested.
The 20-year-old also drives around in a sleek vehicle, and towards the end of the music video, ishowspeed is seen slowly falling from a height.

Ishowspeed began his musical career in 2021 with the release of Dooty Booty, an emo/trap record that explored the content creator’s experience with bad friends and a previous relationship.
In November of the same year, he followed after with Shake, an upbeat song that refers to Speed’s popular dance style, Bounce That A**. The track became one of the artist’s most popular ones yet, with over 228 million views on YouTube.
In November 2022, ishowspeed dropped a World Cup anthem titled World Cup, which made waves, boasting over 180 million views. The live streamer continued his musical projects in 2023 with tracks like Dogs, Portuginies, and I Do Wanna Go Reprised.
Following the streamer’s trip to Brazil in 2024, he met up with rapper and producer JPEGMAFIA, with whom he released the Trip 2 Brazil EP, which featured fast-paced Brazilian tracks like Monkey, Trip 2 Brazil, Porradao, and Seven.
The first verse of Speed’s latest track, Higher, has the streamer describing his songs as bops. It also sets the mood for the upbeat song with lyrics like:
