Sam and Alice Yaxley had been dating for six months before the reality TV star decided to pop the question. Vanderpump announced his engagement on Instagram with a post, writing:

"She said yes 🤩 💍 23.02.2025"

Lisa Vanderpump, one of the main characters on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, congratulated the couple on their milestone. She commented:

"Perfect couple... Congratulations again darling … I love you."

Before they got engaged, the couple had been enjoying their time together, going on trips. But at the same time, they went through a big health scare when Sam Vanderpump was fighting for his life. In Sam's words, he said that he and Alice have:

"gone through such a lot in such a short period of time."

He talked about how ill he was towards the end of 2024 due to a genetic liver disease, which "led to sepsis and it ended up quite bad." He also shared that he "could have died" at the time. It was going through this traumatic time that brought the pair "very, very close."

He told OK! Magazine via Daily Mail:

"I think I walked out of that looking at Alice and thinking, 'This is the girl I want to marry.' So, my thinking was, 'If I'm saying that now, why on earth am I waiting?'"

The couple has also shared that they are expecting. Currently, Alice Yaxley is 7 months pregnant.

The couple decided to get married in a small, intimate ceremony, surrounded by their friends and family. They tied the knot at the Kensington and Chelsea Register Office in West London.

Alice wore an A-line Caroline Castigliano gown with a long veil, completed with a bouquet of red flowers. While Sam Vanderpump wore a black and white suit, with a dash of red from Endrick Clothing to match his bride.

Now, recently married and with a baby along the way, the couple are looking forward to beginning their lives together as a family.
