Her name was inspired by a nickname that was used for her royal great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, during her childhood. Princess Lilibet's full name is Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor.

Princess Lilibet made a short cameo on her mother's latest Instagram video, promoting her own lifestyle brand, As Ever. The princess made her appearance towards the end of the clip and can be seen standing on a small wooden bridge with her mother, as Meghan lovingly touches her daughter's back and head.

Princess Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor is the second child and first daughter of Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan. She was born in Santa Barbara, California, in 2021, which means she has dual citizenship. She is both an American and a British citizen. The little princess is currently the youngest grandchild of King Charles.

Since she was born in the US, she did not see her father's side of the family till she was almost one year old. She met her great-grandmother Elizabeth II and grandfather Charles III for the first time when he parents travelled to the UK in 2022, to attend a ceremony for the queen, called "Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee".

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were cautious to post photos of baby Lilibet after she was born. It was only after six months that the couple released an official first photograph of Lilibet to the public, which was a Christmas card from the Sussexes.

Lilibet was baptized at the Episcopal Church in a private service on March 3, 2023, by Bishop John H. Taylor. It was also revealed that American actor and comedian Tyler Perry is her godfather.

During an interview with Oprah with Meghan and Harry, Meghan disclosed that Perry helped the royal couple with housing and security for the first three months after they withdrew from the British royal protection. It was when they relocated from Canada to California in 2020.

As for her titles, the youngest royal can choose to use "princess" or "royal highness," since she was the granddaughter of a king.

Meghan recently shared some unseen photos of herself, her husband, and their baby daughter Lilibet, to celebrate her 4th birthday. The Duchess of Sussex posted on Instagram, writing:

"Happy birthday to our beautiful girl! Four years ago today she came into our lives - and each day is brighter and better because of it. Thanks to all of those sending love and celebrating her special day!"

She also posted two photos of Prince Harry with his daughter, one from when she was a newborn, and another where the father and daughter were holding hands, walking down what looked like a beach trail. Meghan Markle captioned the post:

"The sweetest bond to watch unfold 💕 Daddy’s little girl and favorite adventurer Happy birthday Lili!"

Princess Lilibet, who just turned 4 years old, continues to capture the hearts of her parents and the public. Although her parents have been extremely private about their youngest daughter, the public does see a few glimpses of the young princess during certain occasions, and for instance, her mother's latest video of her brand, As Ever.
