Rashad Jamiyl Spain a.k.a. Saucy Santana was on Carlos King's podcast 'Reality with the KING' and had a few things to say about his friend Yung Miami. Yung Miami, whose real name is Caresha Romeka Brownlee, was involved in a controversy related to Diddy because she dated the Bad Boy Records founder in 2021.
Carlos King shared a clip of the podcast where Saucy Santana stood up for his friend. The 31-year-old rapper expressed that Caresha deserves an apology after all the hate that has been thrown at her since Diddy was on trial. He said:
"It's like this little, weird Caresha hate-train. Even when it came to, you know, her dating Diddy, and now [it’s] in everybody face, now that this stuff is going through…court"
He continued by saying:
"Jane Doe said, 'I was jealous…of her. She wasn't like us, she didn't get treated like us.' We told y'all that in the 'Caresha, Please' interview… that wasn't her experience. But…it wanted to go over everybody head."
He concluded by saying:
"Who ain’t braggadocious about they man? It's [what] every girl is doin'. So, why? Cause y'all couldn't bag a billionaire?"
What did Yung Miami tell Saucy Santana about her relationship with Diddy?
A year ago, Yung Miami decided to speak up about the allegations that were made against her ex-boyfriend, Sean Combs. Caresha used her Revolt podcast 'Caresha Please' as a platform to make her thoughts known. She was joined by her friend Saucy Santana.
Saucy Santana asked Brownlee how she was doing mentally, as well as her experience with dating Diddy. She was also asked why she never spoke up after multiple lawsuits were filed against Diddy.
Yung Miami revealed that she did not have similar experiences to the others. She did not go through any abuse with Diddy at the time while she was dating him. In her words:
"I can't speak on something that wasn't my experience, and I can't speak on something that I don't know. I can't speak on these allegations because I wasn't around at the time... I don't know that person, and that wasn't my experience."
She added:
"People feel like I was Diddy's biggest cheerleader and I made him my brand. And I feel like Diddy was on brand for me... I met him when he was in another era. I met Diddy when the world was celebrating him and giving him his flowers when he was alive. He was getting the (2023 MTV VMAs) Global Icon Award, the (2022 BET Awards) lifetime achievement award, the key to the city."
Carersha continued:
"He had a new album that was coming out, so I was celebrating him with the world. And I just feel like everybody's trying to crucify me for it... I was just celebrating when the world was celebrating him, so why am I being crucified, or why am I being separated?"
Yung Miami was in two abusive relationships before she started dating Diddy. The former City Girls rapper concluded:
"It really hurt me because I just feel like Puff was a really, really good person to me. I feel like he came and he helped me; he elevated me... He saw a lot of things in me, and I feel like that's one of his specialties, like, he knows how to find people and identify their talent. He was able to see more than music in me."
Saucy Santana defended Yung Miami, saying that she deserves an apology for the backlash tied to Diddy's controversies. Caresha also made it clear that her experience with Diddy was different and free from abuse.
