Maurice Harrison, popularly known by her TikTok username, Girlalala, was shot dead inside a car last Friday (November 14). While the investigation is still ongoing, a recent video evidence from a Tesla has helped the police to arrest Harrison's accused killer.According to reports from Local10 News, the deputies revealed that the person behind the gun that took away Girlalala's life was her own boyfriend. In the video, Shanoyd Whyte Jr., the TikToker's boyfriend, can be seen getting out of the driver's seat of a sedan. In a few seconds, Maurice was seen getting out of the car from the passenger's seat, when Whyte grabbed her by the hair and pushed her back inside the car.According to the Broward Sheriff's Office, they revealed that Maurice Harrison was shot around 7 p.m. while she was sitting in the car. The crime happened along the 3300 block of Northwest 37th Avenue in Lauderdale Lakes.Girlalala's rocky relationship with her boyfriendAccording to reports from Local10 News, Girlalala's relationship with her boyfriend is not always smooth sailing. As officers reported from the video evidence, the couple was seen arguing before it escalated and turned violent.Additionally, the TikToker's friends and family acknowledged that the pair had a "tumultuous" relationship.However, this is not the first time Shanoyd Whyte Jr. was arrested. Back in 2022, the former football player was arrested for domestic violence. The arrest form revealed that Whyte "physically and maliciously battered the victim multiple times." It has been confirmed that the victim is not Maurice, but someone else. Local10 News reports that the victim did not proceed further with the case.More details from the night of Girlalala's murderLocal10 News has revealed an unnamed individual who narrated what happened on that fateful Friday night. He shared:"My wife heard a gunshot around 6:50... This whole area was blocked off, police were on scene, a lot of police were on scene. They kind of stormed into our house as well, I think the neighbor’s house too, check the perimeter and whatnot."Unfortunately, this is not the first time Maurice Harrison's family has experienced gun violence. Now, we are just praying that justice is served to the fullest degree."Girlalala's tragic death has led to the arrest of her boyfriend after video evidence showed their argument turning violent moments before the shooting.
