"I can’t wait to be a mom": Bella Hadid opens up on having family in British Vogue Interview

Bella Hadid has established herself as a prominent figure in the modeling and fashion industry. With her runway presence and stunning looks, Hadid was named the Model of the Year by the British Fashion Awards in 2022. While Bella is clearly thriving in her career, it seems she is also eager to start a family of her own.

In an interview with British Vogue, when asked about having a family, Bella replied,

"Family is on my mind. I can’t wait to be a mom. I think that I’m somebody for a lot of people, but in the real intimate way of being the person that somebody can count on consistently, that will change my life for me. And I cannot wait."

Bella additionally touched on the topic of marriage, saying,

"I never grew up being like, ‘Oh, I have this vision of marriage.’ I have this vision of being a mother. But it’s got to a point where I’m like: ‘You know what? That’s something that’s for me.’ I think that would make me truly happy."

The model is currently dating Adan Banuelos, an American cowboy. They were first seen together in 2023.

Bella Hadid admires her niece Khai, calling her the best thing

While Bella showed her excitement to become a mom, the model also expressed her admiration for her niece, Khai. Khai is the daughter of Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik, born in September 2020.

After sharing her excitement about becoming a mother in the British Vogue interview, Bella added,

"Khai is the best thing since sliced bread. I want to be the best auntie to her. My sister is a superhero."

Bella has also shown love for Khai multiple times on social media. On Khai's first birthday, Bella uploaded an Instagram post calling Khai her best friend. The caption of the post read,

"Happy Birthday to the greatest gift our family has ever been blessed with…. I didn’t know my heart could grow this big!!!!You make me smile when I’m sad and make me cry of happiness just because ur alive. I can’t wait to watch you grow into the most perfect specimen of all"

In another appreciation post uploaded by Bella Hadid in October 2021, she wrote,

"Watching my sister be the greatest mother to the most magical child is the biggest joy in my life"

Both Gigi and Bella Hadid have always appreciated each other, especially regarding their roles as mother and aunt, as well as sisters.

Bella Hadid officially confirmed her relationship with her boyfriend, Adan Banuelos, in February 2024. Since then, the couple has consistently shown strong support for each other, with Bella occasionally sharing glimpses of their relationship on social media.
