JoJo Siwa recently opened up about a tense moment at the Celebrity Big Brother UK wrap party, stating:

"I'm getting cussed out."

This confrontation with her then-partner, Kath Ebbs, marked the end of their relationship. Siwa shared her perspective on the incident during an appearance on The Viall Files podcast.

JoJo Siwa explains how the breakup unfolded at the wrap party

JoJo Siwa said she went into the party expecting a friendly reunion after 19 days in the Big Brother house, not an emotional showdown. She asked Ebbs if they could talk the next day, since she “wasn’t in a place to talk” after weeks of isolation and little sleep. When Ebbs changed their mind and arrived an hour later:

JoJo Siwa recalled, “All of a sudden we’re at the wrap party for Big Brother. I’m getting cussed out”.
She kept saying, “I don’t know,” to repeated questions about their relationship until finally admitting,
“If you ask me right now, my answer is yes,” meaning she needed to end things.

She says personal reflections, not Chris Hughes, led to her doubts

Inside the house, JoJo Siwa saw a family photo from a Disney World trip and realized she had tolerated things “that nobody should,” which opened “a can of worms” in her mind.

She told podcast host Nick Viall, “There’s so many reasons why my breakup happened. Christopher is not one of them”
“Maybe it would be easier if he was! But he is not one of them,".
She added, “so don’t paint it out to look like I cheated on you with him because I did not”

Kath Ebbs describes feeling “humiliated” by the abrupt split

In a now-deleted TikTok, Ebbs said they:

“flew across the world to support and be there and hold [Siwa]”

After the show, only to be

"dumped at the after-party, with Chris in the next room,”

Which they called “f---ing crazy to say out loud.

Ebbs also accused Siwa of “emotional cheating,” noting that viewers saw moments like cuddling and hand-holding with Hughes.

“In terms of Mr. Christopher, I dunno. I have opinions. I’m not gonna say them now,” they said

Security intervened as emotions ran high

Siwa said the argument grew so heated that party security checked on her to ensure she was safe. She described the scene as a “whirlwind,” with hundreds of guests around and her feeling “shocked” by how quickly the private talk turned public.

JoJo Siwa wants the public to hear both sides of the story

On The Viall Files, Siwa stressed that she respected Ebbs’ right to share their perspective but asked them not to spread what she called “false narratives.”

“Look, if you would like to share what happened, if you would like to share how it happened, that’s totally fine. It’s your story. It’s your life. Please do not lead to the false narrative that’s already out there,” she said.

Both are taking time to focus on themselves

Since the breakup, JoJo Siwa has said she is using this period for self-reflection and to understand her identity more fully; explaining she realized she identifies as queer rather than strictly lesbian.

Ebbs has spoken openly about feeling “humiliated” but also thanked supporters for their kindness. Fans continue to follow both their journeys as they heal and move forward in their own ways.
