The court has ruled in favor of Cardi B in the assault lawsuit filed against her, with the decision delivered on September 2. Speaking to ABC News, the rapper thanked her legal team, the court, and her fans for supporting her and standing with her. Talking about Emani Ellis, who filed the lawsuit, she said:

"Even if I'm on my deathbed, I swear to God, I will say it on my deathbed. I did not touch that woman. I did not touch that girl. I didn't lay my hands on that girl, and with that being said, this time around I'm going to be nice."

Sending out a clear message, Cardi B warned of legal consequences for anyone who tries to take her to court, stating:

"The next person to try to do a frivolous lawsuit against me, I'm going to countersue, and I'm gonna make you pay because this is not okay. I think people have like these misinterpretations of celebrities, like, Oh well, we can ask for this, and they're gonna settle."

The rapper didn’t hold back, warning that any future lawsuits could backfire, stressing that she works hard to provide for her kids and those she supports.
