"I think Harry's done": Meghan Markle's half-brother claims sister might divorce Prince Harry after 'titles get stripped' 

The Duchess of Sussex's controversial older half-brother, Thomas Wayne Markle Jr., has predicted that a divorce might be imminent for his half-sister, Meghan Markle, and her husband, Prince Harry.

On May 9, 2025, Thomas Wayne appeared on Talk TV, where he made a bold prognosis about Prince Harry and Meghan parting ways when they lose their respective royal titles.

Wayne, who is estranged from Meghan Markle, responded when asked by host Kevin O’Sullivan whether his half-sister might leave Prince Harry someday:

“I think it’s straightforward, I think it’s gonna happen. Because of the threat of William taking the titles away. But I think once the titles get stripped, you know, I think Harry's done.” Thomas stated.

The 58-year-old added that Meghan allegedly sent her wedding ring to her former husband, Trevor Engelson, when she deemed him no longer important to her.

On Friday, May 9, 2024, Markle Jr didn’t hold back as he shared his thoughts on Prince Harry and Meghan's marriage in his interview with Kevin O’Sullivan of Talk TV. When asked to answer whether he believed that Meghan Markle had ruined Prince Harry, Markle Jr. replied:

“Kevin O’Sullivan: My question to you, Tom, do you think your sister, Meghan Markle, has ruined Prince Harry?

“Thomas Markle Jr.: Well, let me answer that real quick for ya, the answer is yes. I was watching (Harry’s BBC interview) and thinking to myself, this poor man. And it just continues and continues, and he’s going deeper and deeper, and I do believe that Meghan’s driving this whole caravan for him. He’s so stressed out, you can see it in his face. He doesn’t know what to say, he thinks he’s gonna get into trouble if he doesn’t say exactly what Meghan says.”

He acknowledged that Prince Harry seems to be a changed man, and shared that he had read comments where netizens expressed concerns over the Duke of Sussex:

"The way it looks to everybody in the world, too. Harry's a changed man. I have millions of comments; “what happened to Harry, this poor man. Now, people don't even feel sorry for Harry because he continues to do it over and over again. And how bad does it have to be?”

He proceeded to call out his half-sister, Meghan Markle, for allegedly being a controlling partner:

“What is going on? What dirt does she have on you? Is she blackmailing you… Does she keep your n*ts in a jar in her purse? I don't know.” He added.

During the interview, Thomas Markle Jr criticized his estranged sister’s Netflix Docuseries "With Love, Meghan” and described it as a vain project:

“It’s called vanity. She’s a legend in her own mind. She’s playing this part out like she’s God’s gift to the world and everybody’s supposed to worship her.”

He slammed Meghan’s description of herself as a “latchkey kid” in the series as untrue:

“And then told so many lies to the entire world continuously about working hard and putting yourself through college, how we were so poor growing up, and rubbing two nickels together at Sizzler’s salad bar. It’s endless—how she was a poor orphan, she never had a family, when it’s all the complete opposite."

At the time of writing this article, Meghan Markle had not responded to her half-brother's statements.
