Social media personality, model, and TikToker, Alix Earle, has given her followers a few hints about what she plans to do with her Hot Mess podcast. Initially, Hot Mess was under the Unwell Network, owned by fellow podcaster Alexandra Cooper. The latter is known for her work with the Call Her Daddy podcast.

Two months ago, Earle announced that Hot Mess has parted ways with the Unwell Network. She also revealed that she will be taking a break from the podcast itself. Now, two months after the announcement, Alix Earle spoke about her plans with WSJ. Magazine. She said:

"That was, behind the scenes... a little bit of a hot mess."

She continues to elaborate, saying that she is ready to get back to podcasting and make it better than ever before. She continued:

"We have plans to bring things back, elevate things... It might look a little different, but I'm excited to see what we do with it."

More details about Alix Earle's plans

Alix Earle has come a long way from March, when she announced Hot Mess had left Unwell Network. Although the exact rumors of the departure were not revealed, many suspected that Earle and Cooper had a few disagreements, but none of the women have confirmed the rumors.

When Alix made the announcement on a TikTok video, she said:

"Don't really want to get into the details of it all... I can't get into the details of it all right now, but I've loved it so much, and I'm really proud of what I built with the podcast."

Even though she took a break from the Hot Mess podcast for two months, she has been connecting with her followers and fans through YouTube vlogs. She clarified:

"I don't want to just leave you astray and not leave you with anything... There's going to be no lack of content—it's just going to be a little bit different... There's been a lot going on over the past month, and although not in an ideal situation right now, we are gonna have a really good time."

While Alex Cooper did not respond to the feud rumors, she responded on her Instagram stories by saying:

"Alix not being able to podcast has nothing to do with Unwell. Idk why she can't/what's going on."

What else is Alix Earle working on?

Besides improving her Hot Mess podcast, she also announced during her interview with Good Morning America on May 22, 2025, that she has been chosen as one of the contestants for Dancing With the Stars season 34. She is the second celebrity to be cast after Robert Irwin.

This is what Alix Earle had to say about being on the reality dance competition series:

"I used to watch it when I was so young with my grandma, and she would always say to me, 'Maybe one day you can be on there.' I was so in love with dance. And when this opportunity came to me, it was like, what can I do next, where can I take this. And I mean, I’m ready to challenge myself. I think it’s going to be a lot of fun. So it was a very obvious answer to say yes," the social media personality shared.

Alix Earle may be young, but her decisions reveal that she is not afraid of taking bold steps for personal and professional growth. Even though her podcast is not under Unwell Network's wing anymore, she is moving ahead and working on it to make it better. She is also undertaking different paths to expand her skills and experience.
