According to an exclusive story by People magazine, Anna Kendrick, the Pitch Perfect actress, has been in a relationship with American stand-up comedian Alex Edelman for months. Anna Kendrick and Alex Edelman were recently spotted in a car together, sparking dating speculations.
According to People, a source tells them that the couple has been together for several months now and Anna recently celebrated Edelman’s birthday together, meeting his mum in the process.
“It doesn’t seem casual. Anna’s very private, though. They enjoy date night at low-key restaurants that are not your typical celeb hangouts,” the source added, as reported by People.
Who is Alex Edelman? Anna Kendrick’s seemingly new flame
Alex Edelman is a 36-year-old American stand-up comedian born and raised in Boston to a modern Orthodox Jewish family. Alex found an interest in stand-up comedy when he was fifteen years old, and this interest continued even when he was in school.
He made his UK debut in 2012 and first performed in Australia in 2015. In 2014, he won an Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Newcomer. Alex has also won a Herald Angel Award, an Obie Award, and a Primetime Emmy Award. In 2024, Edelman was honored with a Special Tony Award.
