Is Elsie Hewitt and Pete Davidson expecting a baby girl? What we know so far

Elsie Hewitt and Pete Davidson took to Instagram to announce their pregnancy on July 16, 2025. The model posted a series of photos of herself and her actor-comedian boyfriend, along with a video of her getting an ultrasound. The model captioned her post:

"welp now everyone knows we had sex"

Elsie Hewitt and Pete Davidson have not mentioned the gender of their baby, but sharp-eyed internet sleuths expect that the couple might be expecting a baby girl. The reason behind this speculation came an hour after Elsie announced the pregnancy on Instagram.

One of the comments from Elsie Hewitt's friends, Camille Orders, may have accidentally revealed the gender. She expressed her well-wishes by writing:

"my capricorn lil niece is gonna be spoiled to smitherines," the comment even hinting at a possible due date, since Capricorns are born from December 22 to January 21.

Ever since the couple got together in March, they have kept their relationship on the down-low and away from the public eye. However, this does not mean that they do not gush about each other whenever they can.

In May, the couple made their red carpet debut at the Blossom Ball, which is an event benefiting the Endometriosis Foundation of America. Elsie Hewitt, who is suffering from endometriosis, said:

"He is so incredible... Honestly, best person I’ve ever met, and I’m so grateful that he’s here tonight."

She added that he takes care of her whenever her condition gets intense. They often just cuddle and watch a movie. Elsie continued:

"Pete sets me up with a little heating pad, and it’s very sweet, and I just eat whatever I like... Everyone deserves a Pete."

What did Pete Davidson have to say about becoming a father?

On another note, during an interview with Kevin Hart on his talk show, Hart to Hart, three years ago, Pete expressed his desire to become a father. He said:

"My favorite thing ever, which I have yet to achieve, I wanna have a kid... That’s like my dream. It’s like, super corny... It would be so fun. Dress up the little dude... That’s kind of what I’m just preparing for now, is just trying to be as good as a dude, develop and get better so when that happens it’s just easier."

The comment from Camille Orders clearly states that the baby is a girl and might be born in December or January. However, neither Elsie Hewitt nor Pete Davidson has commented on their baby's gender or due date. They have not confirmed or replied to Orders' comment either.
