Fans and netizens have had mixed reactions to Emilie Kiser turning off the comments section on her TikTok videos following the tragic death of her three-year-old son, Trigg. A section of users took to X to support her in their comments.

“I hope poor Emilie Kiser never logs on to tik tok again and finds peace. Such a horrible thing to go through and nobody on the internet knows human decency anymore.” A user said.
“I am so glad Emilie Kiser turned off her comments section on instagram, people are disgusting, judging a mom who just lost a piece of her is the lowest of the low, it doesn’t matter it happened, she won’t ever ever forget it so just stfu.” A user reacted.
“I thought this same exact thing. Someone close to her needs to get onto her accounts and shut down comments/tagging, notifications, etc. Many mean well, but the LAST thing she needs is bombardment like that.” One more added.
“I can’t stop thinking about Emilie kiser and her family. if she never posts again, that’s okay. if she comes back, may she be welcomed & accepted with open arms. I just hope she can find peace, healing and comfort in her life—privately or otherwise.” Another added.
“Emilie kiser is just so pure hearted she did not deserve this, im so sad for her.. grieving a child can consume you from inside out may God keep his hands around her and her family..” One user commented.

However, some have continued to criticize Kiser:

“It’s the law in her state to have a fence around a pool. She didn’t.” A user noted.
“Losing a child is unimaginable, but honestly easily preventable in her case. Sad but true. Rest in peace Trigg” One more added.
