The Stranger Things actress will star in her upcoming movie, The Electric State, launching on March 14 on Netflix. While giving the interview with her co-star Chris Pratt, Millie said:

"My middle name is Bonnie."

After hearing this, Chris Pratt asked if it's pronounced as:

"Millie Bobby Bonnie Brown"

She further said that Millie Bobby Brown is just her stage name and not her real name.

Millie Bobby Brown adds Bongiovi to her last name after marriage

Millie recently married her longtime boyfriend, Jake Bongiovi. The couple started dating in 2021, before tying the knot in May 2024. During the shoot of Stranger Things last season, she uploaded a new post on Instagram showing the behind-the-scenes of her shoot.

In the carousel uploaded on August 12, the actress also uploaded a picture showing her name as 'Millie Bobby Brown Bongiovi." The photo received admiration from fans who liked Millie's new surname. This ended the speculation, confirming to many that she and Jake Bongiovi are officially married.

In October 2024, Brown uploaded pictures of her wedding with Jake Bongiovi, with the caption:

"forever and always, your wife."

However, she hasn't changed her name on social media accounts, which still hold her stage name, Millie Bobby Brown.

The Stranger Things actress calls out reporters for passing comments on her appearance

The actress is seen quite active on her social media accounts and promoting her movie 'The Electric State.' Amidst this, many reporters called out Millie for her looks. In response, Brown uploaded a video on March 3, calling out the journalists, including Lydia Hawken, John Ely, Cassie Carpenter, Bethan Edwards, and Matt Lucas.

In the video, she said:

"This isn’t journalism. This is bullying. The fact that adult writers are spending their time dissecting my face, my body, my choices, it’s disturbing. The fact that some of these articles are written by women makes it even worse."

A reporter, Matt Lucas, further apologized to The Electric State actress on Instagram by writing:

"I was mortified when the press wrote that I ‘slammed’ you, firstly because that’s not my style, and secondly because I think you’re brilliant. I would not have posted it if I had thought it would have upset you but I realise it has and for that I apologise."

Millie hasn't responded to Matt Lucas's statement yet.

Along with The Electric State, Millie Bobby Brown will also be seen in the final season of Stranger Things, which is scheduled to be released in 2025.
