Kim Kardashian debuts a new look for her SKIMS x Roberto Cavalli collaboration

Kim Kardashian is the queen of new looks and fresh hairdos. The 44-year-old media personality and businesswoman debuted a new look for her SKIMS x Roberto Cavalli collaboration. In a series of photos and short clips captured by the talented British visual artist Nadia Lee Cohen, Kim was almost unrecognizable with her new hairstyle, which is possibly a wig.

Kim Kardashian was wearing a one-piece with an archival image of a tiger from the SKIMS x Roberto Cavalli collection. Her hair was a something in between of a pixie cut and a shag with curls. The almost-strawberry blonde hair was accessorized with a red headband. The entire collection screams retro, inspired by vintage styles and designs.

Another Kardashian was seen in the video clips promoting the SKIMS x Roberto Cavalli collection. Kris Jenner was also wearing a few pieces from the collection, in a similar vintage style, with her hair done up in a style that seemed to be popular from the '80s.

Kim Kardashian has expressed that her hair can give her a huge confidence boost. During an interview with Allure, the SKIMS founder expressed how different hair colors make her feel. She said:

"I'm sassier. I'm more confident as a blonde... As soon as I go back to brunette, I'm a boss."

Kim's relationship with her hair is not a recent development. The reality star brought it up during a 2018 episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. She conveyed how much her hair meant to her to Kris Jenner. Kim said:

"I put it in my will that I have to always have my hair done."

So far, Kim is true to her word. She would often post photos of herself with new hairdos, different colored wigs, and more, just to experiment.

One of her most recent and short haircuts was posted by world-renowned celebrity hair stylist Chris Appleton. He posted photos of Kim Kardashian with her new haircut and wrote:

"Love this new chop on kim, we got 7 inches off her hair! (No it’s not a wig before u start lol) To style we opt for an iconic Deep side part Tom Ford Gucci 96 inspired."

In response to this post, Schwarzkopf Professional USA's official Instagram account commented:

"Always stunning no matter what she does to her hair 🖤🖤🖤"

Kim Kardashian's love for experimenting and playing around with her hair may have been passed down to her daughter, North West. A few weeks ago, Kim posted a photo to her Instagram story of North West's new blue hair. It had two shades of blue and was styled in waves to give it more definition.

Kim Kardashian's SKIMS x Roberto Cavalli collection will be available on the official SKIMS website on June 27, 2025, which is two days away. It will also be made available at a few Robert Cavalli boutiques and luxury retailers. You can also find it at Printemps New York.
