Kylie Kelce shares how she handles her little ones during long car rides in a recent podcast

Kylie Kelce, the media personality and the creator and host of the podcast Not Gonna Lie, recently revealed on her podcast that she tells her children a fib to make their family road trips easier.

The podcast aired on June 19, 2025, and Kylie said that she jokingly tells her four kids that the minivan’s built‑in TV only works on long car rides. This playful lie keeps the trips peaceful and gives the children something to look forward to on longer drives.

Kylie is a mum to four daughters: Wyatt Elizabeth, Elliotte Ray, Bennett Llewellyn, and Finnley “Finn” Anne.

Kylie reveals her secret to handling her kids during long rides

In a recent episode of Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce, she revealed what she says to her kids to keep them calm during long trips. As per People, this is what she said:

"We've taken some trips to the shore, and we were lucky enough to get the screen feature in the back. We have a TV. That is a game changer for the beach. The girls are obsessed.''

She continued:

''Although I won't lie to you guys. I will lie to my children till the day I die — but I won't lie to you guys — and I did lie and tell my children that the TV only works on long car rides.''

The topic surrounding the lie she tells her kids came when Kelce was discussing how she was resistant to purchasing a minivan, although her husband, Jason, and kids were totally onboard with the idea. Explaining how she went from being reluctant to being okay with the decision of purchasing the minivan, she said:

''I might have been reluctant to go full minivan. I believe I've used the words, 'Swore I'd never do this,' but Jason and our girls have always been on board. And now that I'm a few months in, they're definitely loving the Sienna, which makes it harder for me to keep resisting."

She then went ahead and explained how her husband, Jason, felt about her decision. She said:

''I will tell you Jason is basking in the fact that I have caved about a minivan. He's been trying this for years. If you're nervous to go full minivan, listen. I've been there. But, hey, maybe check out your local Toyota dealer just for funsies. Just fun. Go take a test drive."

Kelce and her family officially bought the Toyota Sienna minivan around early 2025, and then in a following podcast episode, she praised the minivan for its features and referred to herself as a 'minivan driver.'
