Late conservative activist Charlie Kirk's wife, Erika Kirk, shared a message on this Thanksgiving. TPUSA's new CEO took to X on Thursday and reposted Charlie Kirk's post from last year. In his previous year's Thanksgiving post, the late political commentator shared a picture showing him with his family. Resharing her husband's post, Erika Kirk urged people to love their families, highlighting the uncertainty of life.
"…what I would give. Even in the depths of pain and heartache of trails, there is always something to be thankful for. Please love your family so deeply today (and always). If you don’t have family; then your chosen family. Your friends. Your loved ones. Life is so precious, life is so short," she posted.
Erika Kirk also shared a video on her Instagram in which she could be seen going through thousands of letters and wishes she received following Charlie Kirk's assassination. In the caption of her post, she thanked people for sending letters and gifts on Thanksgiving.
"Charlie and I always loved Thanksgiving because it drew us back to the simple, but holy practice of gratitude. And even now, well, especially now, in the depths of the ache, I’m reminded of that gratitude. God blessed me with being married to the love of my life, with our beautiful babies, with our family and friends, and with people from all over the world who have sent us letters, toys, artwork, and Bibles," the caption read.
Charlie Kirk's widow said she couldn’t express what the "outpouring of love" had meant to her and the children. She added that she was reading every letter and card and opening every gift.
"I’m thankful for a God who brings life out of ashes, who guards my heart, and who carries us as we do our best…today and every day. We’ll save a plate for you babe. I love you, @charliekirk1776 happy Thanksgiving," she added.
Erika Kirk unveils Charlie Kirk's upcoming book
On Thursday, Winning Team Publication shared a joint post on Instagram, announcing Charlie Kirk's upcoming book, STOP, in the Name of God. As per the post's caption, the TPUSA founder completed this book just a month before he was shot and killed on September 10.
Earlier on Megyn Kelly's live event, Erika Kirk unveiled this book. When Kelly asked about the book, Erika Kirk responded:
"Took him a year and a half to write it. And this book, I mean, when I'm reading it, I'm like, I did not even know you knew that. Um, it is so powerful. The overarching theme of it is the power of honoring the Sabbath and the importance of rest... Reading this book, it's like he's—I mean, he's still he's present with the Lord, but it's feels like he's still fully here."
In her recent interview with Megyn Kelly, Erika Kirk reflected on her relationship with Charlie Kirk. She also addressed the rumors involving her and Vice President JD Vance.
