Liz McClarnon recently gained a lot of attention after welcoming her first child with her husband, Peter Cho, following their two-year marriage.

The Atomic Kitten star broke the news on social media, sharing an Instagram story on November 2, 2025, showing a picture of herself in a hospital bed with the caption of "baby Archie arrived ahead of schedule" and ended with "everything went smoothly in the end".

The newborn is a miracle baby for Liz McClarnon, who has suffered from two miscarriages previously. McClarnon and Cho have been dating since 2021, and after a couple of years of dating, married in 2023.

In an interview with OK! Magazine, McClarnon said they started the IVF treatment before her wedding to Cho. She had undergone eight rounds of IVF in three years.

Liz McClarnon and Peter Cho’s relationship timeline has drawn a sudden interest after they welcomed a baby boy.

The British singer is from Liverpool, England, and rose to fame as part of the famous girl group Atomic Kitten. Whole Again, Eternal Flame, The Tide is High, and Someone Like Me are some of the popular tracks which defined McClarnon’s musical career.

McClarnon surprised her fans when she shared a photo of her embracing her mystery man, revealing her engagement ring in the post. However, she did not reveal the identity of her fiancé at that time. She met Cho, a doctor by profession, in 2021 through the dating app Hinge.

She was previously engaged to Lee Ryan, a singer from the boy band Blue. They dated for around two years and were engaged in 2003. But their relationship ended with a break-up the following year. She told Closer in an interview:

“I'd never date another celebrity again. I was engaged to Lee and I didn't like having our relationship in the spotlight.”

In June 2023, McClarnon revealed to her followers that she married Cho in a secret wedding. It was held at the five-star Broadoaks Country House Hotel in the Lake District, according to a report in The Sun. She also revealed that she has changed her name to Liz McClarnon-Cho.

Sharing the news on her Instagram account, she wrote:

“A few days ago Peter & I tied the knot surrounded by some of the people we love and care for (with little Bean - our dog) and I wanted to share this lovely picture with you from our day.”

Alongside the note, Liz McClarnon shared a dreamy wedding picture of her and her partner sharing a kiss at their wedding. She showered gratitude to her friends and close relatives who travelled from far-off places to attend their big day. She also thanked her online friends who congratulated her on her wedding.

Closing her message, she added:

“A dear friend said ‘You could see the love from the moon that day’ and that’s exactly how it felt.”

After being married for two years, Liz McClarnon revealed in an Instagram post shared in May this year that she was expecting a child with her husband. Ever since then, the 44-year-old has shared her emotional pregnancy journey on her social media.
