The man who was involved in Nicki Minaj's father's hit-and-run case has been identified as Charles Polevich. He has served a year in jail after his 2021 case, where he hit Robert Maraj with his car and fled the scene, even trying to cover up the evidence. Now, after being released from prison, Polevich is trying to find Nicki Minaj because he wants her to do a deposition.

According to RadarOnline.com, Nicki Minaj could not be located in her Los Angeles mansion. It seems that the house is "abandoned," according to reports.

In addition to the legal drama between Nicki Minaj and Charles Polevich, the Super Bass rapper's mother, Carol Maraj, has also filed a lawsuit against the man who killed her husband, demanding $150 million. During the trial, Polevich admitted that he was guilty of leaving the scene of the accident, as well as trying to tamper with evidence by covering his Volvo station wagon with a tarp.

More details about Charles Polevich trying to locate Nicki Minaj

The primary reason Charles Polevich is bringing Nicki Minaj into this legal matter is that he wants her to answer legal questions under oath due to her statements in her music about her childhood and her father. He believes it may be relevant to the case.

While Minaj's mother called the deposition:

"unnecessary and borderline harassment."

The court has decided to proceed with Polevich's request to depose the rapper.

However, since the Beauty and the Beat rapper could not be found in her Los Angeles home, Polevich's legal team has hired investigators both in California and New York to serve her with the deposition.

Investigators found that she had:

"abandoned the premises and no longer resided there," referring to her Hidden Hills estate.

The investigators in New York could not find Nicki, but they met with her husband, Kenneth Petty, who allegedly refused to take the documents on his wife's behalf.

Polevich's team was running out of time and requested the court for an extension. Carol Maraj fought back, saying that he and his team have had "ample time," and they need to move forward with the case after a delay of four years. However, the court, again, is in favor of Polevich and has granted him a 60-day extension to find the rapper and serve her.

In case he is unsuccessful, the court has declared that it will move forward with the case.

Charles Polevich, who served time for the hit-and-run death of Minaj’s father, is now trying to depose the rapper over lyrics referencing her father. Despite her mother calling the move harassment, the court granted Polevich a 60-day extension to locate and serve Minaj.
