Candace Owens has claimed that her former employer, The Daily Wire, is preparing a new show, which is allegedly designed to counter her work. The allegation was made in response to The Daily Wire's latest social media promo.

Candace Owens joined The Daily Wire in 2021, where she hosted a podcast that eventually became one of the platform's most-watched programs. She left the organization in 2024.

The latest drama started after a promo video was posted via the official X (formerly Twitter) account related to the "Candace Owens Podcast" on @DailyWireplus. The caption read,

"She's Real, She's Honest, She's Uncancelable."

When asked what the Daily Wire video was covering, X's Grok responded:

"The video from The Daily Wire promotes Candace Owens' podcast, portraying her as real, honest, and uncancelable with clips from past episodes (noted as aired in 2021). Note she departed DW in 2024 amid conflicts, and recent Jan 2026 news highlights ongoing disputes with DW figures."

In the promo post's comment section, one X user wrote,

"This is weird. Are yall really launching an entire show to counter Candace? That is icky."

Candace Owens replied, saying,

"Yes, they are and they have been trying people out for the role for months."

Netizens reacted to her claim, writing,

"It is not gonna go well for them. Might even make you more popular. Every thing they try and do backfires this far. Keep digging."

The Daily Wire was co-founded by Ben Shapiro. It is a conservative media brand that produces podcasts, documentaries, shows, and more. At Turning Point USA's AmericaFest, Ben Shapiro criticized Candace Owens and other conservative influencers. He referred to them as "frauds" and "grifters."

Netizens were notably quick to gather under the comments of Owens' reply. They shared their thoughts on her claim. Below are some of their remarks:

"Isn't that what they tried with Brett Cooper? Ahhhhh. 8 times a charm. People can sense cringe and won't watch it.", stated an X user.
"Sounds like a test run for the next scapegoat.", wrote another.
"That is not weird lol what's weird is having 50,000 shows in a row about Charlie Kirk and how u had feelings 😵‍💫", commented a third.

Others also chimed in:

"Candace, take it as a complement. After they all tried to unite to take you down and fail, they have decided they need a show dedicated solely to you. They are really, really interested in you. 😆", penned a netizen.
"That'ss okay, from their track record when they try to counter you they actually prove you right 🤷🏻‍♂️", shared another.
"dont quit Candace. you are appreciated.", commented a third.

Following her exit from The Daily Wire, Owens' first independent podcast show after Charlie Kirk's death, titled "They Are Lying About Charlie Kirk," has surpassed 9 million views on YouTube so far.

Notably, Candace Owens has accused multiple people, including Ben Shapiro, of working behind the scenes to block her opportunities. She has also promoted theories about Kirk's assassination that have drawn criticism from Erika Kirk and other conservative influencers.
