YouTube’s biggest star, Jimmy Donaldson (aka MrBeast), is offering an exclusive tour of the massive Beast Games Season 2 set to support his charity, Beast Philanthropy. But there’s a catch: only the first 40 donors who give $100K to his nonprofit get in on the action.

The invite includes a weekend in North Carolina from June 27 to 29, with a behind-the-scenes look at production, a Q&A with the team, and a visit to the Beast Philanthropy food pantry. Oh, and you get to bring two friends. That’s three people, one weekend, and a whole lot of giving.

MrBeast’s $100K Tour: Fans react to Beast Philanthropy offer

Jimmy Donaldson announced the opportunity in true MrBeast fashion, casually dropping a post on X (formerly Twitter):

As expected, the internet did what it does best: react wildly.

A user cheekily posted:

“If you donate me 100,000 I’ll go.”

Another user threw in a bit of side-eye wisdom:

“Why do rich people always ask for money? I never understood that.”

And yes, the tweet went viral. Because this isn’t just a charity drive, it’s MrBeast inviting fans into his universe. That’s a flex not even other YouTubers can pull off.

One user said:

"How can my broke a** donate?"

The best comment was:

"Win-Win incentive for any super wealthy individuals that like his content 👏"

For those somehow not familiar with MrBeast, he’s the reigning king of YouTube with over 400 million subscribers and a media empire reportedly worth $5 billion. His content ranges from jaw-dropping challenges to heartwarming acts of charity, with Beast Games being his biggest leap into mainstream streaming.

Season 1 of Beast Games, hosted on Amazon Prime Video, shattered viewership records with 50 million views in less than a month. The competition show pitted 1,000 contestants against each other for a whopping $5 million prize. Not bad for a guy who started by filming “worst intros on YouTube” videos in his bedroom.

Now, Season 2 is on its way, and MrBeast is building bigger sets, inviting bigger personalities, and asking for bigger donations.

But before you assume this is just a money grab, remember: Beast Philanthropy isn’t some side hustle. It’s a fully registered nonprofit that's been involved in global campaigns from building wells in Africa to funding heart surgeries in Nigeria.

Still, not everyone’s sold. The $100K price tag raised eyebrows, especially given MrBeast's overwhelmingly young fan base.

That’s probably why he clarified there could be other donation tiers in the future. So if you don’t have a spare hundred grand lying under your mattress, stay tuned.

In his own words, MrBeast said he wants to fund some “big charity projects,” and he sees this as a win-win. Fans get a behind-the-scenes experience, and charities get a massive boost. Seems fair… if you're one of the rare people who casually toss around six figures.

It’s also a shift in strategy for the creator, who usually funds his philanthropy through ad revenue and channel income. Rallying fans to directly contribute marks a new chapter and possibly a more sustainable one for his charity work.

Of course, there’s always some controversy. Critics argue that the lines between charity and content blur too often in Jimmy Donaldson’s world. But the man himself stands firm: helping people is just more fun.

At the end of the day, whether you see it as a generous act or a genius marketing move (or both), Jimmy Donaldson continues to do what he does best: break the internet while doing something good.

And if you happen to have a spare $100K and two friends who really like YouTube, well, your weekend plans are sorted.
