“My heart aches for you”: Kylie Jenner shares losing her beloved dog Norman with new IG post

With tears in her heart, Kylie Jenner revealed that her long-time Italian Greyhound, Norman, had passed away. In a moving Instagram eulogy on October 22, 2025, she remembered the strong bond they shared a bond which had begun when she was just 17 years old.

Norman was more than a pet to Jenner; he was a comforting figure in her life as she navigated fame, motherhood, and the growth of her businesses. The celebrity talked about how his presence brought her such clean joy, and even though she had felt that this day could be a possibility as he grew old, the reality of saying goodbye to him still left her heartbroken.

In the post, Jenner started: "In Loving Memory of My Sweet Norman. I still remember the day I brought you home. I had never loved anything so much." She stated that she always desired an Italian Greyhound when she was a child and finally got him for Christmas just after turning 17 the day she refers to as the best gift that she could ever have imagined.

Her photo carousel includes him throughout the years: a puppy in her arms, cuddled up with her daughter Stormi, sporting holiday sweaters, and lounging across her lap. One of them she captioned as, "Me and Norman forever.".

Fans were reacting in the thousands her comment thread was flooded with condolences, and Jenner's close friends and family members chimed in. The outpouring of support, combined with the genuine emotion behind Jenner's words, gave the post a lot of momentum. "My heart breaks for you," she wrote, signing off "I love you forever."

Norman had been part of her public persona for more than a decade. He and one of her other Italian Greyhounds, Bambi, even had an Instagram account at one point. His presence there with Jenner's "pack" of dogs, her kids and her ever-changing lifestyle made him recognizable to fans. His close-to-13-year age and the visible affection Jenner gave him caused the news to make it through her typical updates.
