Malik Taylor has passed away. News of the 28-year-old’s death was announced on August 21, 2025, by his Alpha Kappa Psi at Austin Peay State University. Taylor was described as a light and someone who brought warmth into every room he stepped in:

"It is with heavy hearts that we share our beloved Brother, Malik Taylor, has gone to 'Audit Eternal. To know him was to know he was a light to everyone—always bringing laughter, joy and a warm smile that brightened every room he entered."

The press release from Alpha Kappa Psi continued:

"Though your time with us was far too short, you were a good and faithful Brother, and the 'Great Auditor' will reward you for your everlasting work."

Malik Taylor amassed a significant following on social media owing to his relatable and POV comedy videos. The creator also made videos where he dissected pop culture moments.

He recently spoke about his move to Charlotte, NC, stating that friends and family kept asking why he had chosen to move to the city, while he told them playfully that the city needed their king.
