As stated by Korean media outlet Sports Donga, the bracelet, worn by BTS' Taehyung, is a symbolic item only given to frequent donors by the international child protection NGO 'Save the Children.' The color red represents the collective compassion of the public towards all children globally. Kim Taehyung's modest item appeared to be a sincere manifestation of affection for children worldwide.
Supporters of BTS' Taehyung expressed pride in their idol for his efforts to save children's lives. As a result, admirers inundated the internet with their affection and esteem for the artist. One user on X wrote:
