Antonio Brown is blaming his CTE for allegedly firing shots at Adin Ross' boxing event.

The former All-Pro wide receiver got into a brawl on Friday night in Florida when a chain-snatching debacle turned lethal. As seen in videos circulating online, Brown got into a fight with someone who tried to snatch his chain from around his neck. Security tried to interject, during which time Brown reportedly kicked one of the guards.

The situation then took a drastic turn when Brown allegedly reached for a gun, chased down the snatcher, and fired a shot into the air. Within minutes, law enforcement arrived, culminating in the arrest of the former NFL star.

As reported by Essentially Sports, while being escorted by cops, he yelled:

“I have CTE. I don’t know what happened! I blacked out, dude.”

Everything we know about Antonio Brown's alleged antics, as he claims he was never arrested:

In clips online, Antonio Brown can be seen struggling with the crowd as gunshots are heard. He has since taken to X to deny claims that he was arrested:

"Regarding the boxing event that happened last night," he wrote on X. "I was jumped by multiple individuals who tried to steal my jewelry and cause physical harm to me. Contrary to some video circulating, Police temporarily detained me until they received my side of the story and then released me. I WENT HOME THAT NIGHT AND WAS NOT ARRESTED."

He went on,

"I will be talking to my legal council and attorneys on pressing charges on the individuals that jumped me. I will keep you all posted step-by-step on the process."

At the time of writing, Miami-Dade officials have yet to confirm the same, while Antonio Brown's team also remains mum. Officials will now have to comb through dozens of clips online to determine who fired the shot.

For the unversed, CTE stands for Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy, which is a brain disorder typically caused by repeated head injuries.

As reported by Marca, Antonio Brown's behavior has been contentious since 2016, and rumors say it all began when Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict delivered a brutal hit during the playoffs that year.

Brown, once regarded as one among the NFL's elite, served as a four-time All-Pro and seven-time Pro Bowl selection during his 11-year stint. He was also widely regarded as one of the most explosive wideouts in his heyday.
