Bill Clinton was one of the many names to leave a note in Jeffrey Epstein's 50th birthday album, according to The Wall Street Journal.
A June 24, 2025, publication by The Wall Street Journal has reported that the former president penned a paragraph for the late convicted felon in his leather-bound book, compiled by his partner, Ghislaine Maxwell, in 2003.
Per the outlet, this took place 3 years before allegations of sexual abuse and trafficking were leveled against him. Bill Clinton reportedly hand-wrote:
“It’s reassuring, isn’t it, to have lasted as long, across all the years of learning and knowing, adventures and [illegible word], and also to have your childlike curiosity, the drive to make a difference and the solace of friends.”

Donald Trump is also said to have written in the album, and the report comes weeks after Elon Musk took to X to claim that the incumbent president's name was in the Jeffrey Epstein case files. The Wall Street Journal also reported that Trump's letter to the wealthy financier who died in jail back in 2019 also included a drawing of a naked woman.
“A pal is a wonderful thing. Happy Birthday — and may every day be another wonderful secret,” the concluding line read.
However, The Independent has reported that Trump has denied penning any such letter, calling it “false, malicious, and defamatory," and is now suing the outlet for $10 billion.
Bill Clinton has yet to comment on the debacle, though a spokesperson reportedly referred to an old statement claiming that Clinton and Epstein's bond soured a decade before he was arrested in 2019, and that he was unaware of Epstein’s crimes.
Bill Clinton, who served as President from 1993 to 2001, was pictured with Epstein and Maxwell at the White House during his first year in office. He was also publicly associated with them in the early 2000s.
The statement also noted that Bill Clinton had taken four trips on the disgraced mogul's private jet. He also visited his townhouse in Manhattan one time, though every trip was allegedly made with his Secret Service team by him and for work related to the Clinton Foundation.
Other figures who wished the wealthy mogul include billionaire Leon Black, Vera Wang, luxury fashion designer, Mort Zuckerman, a media owner, and the former head of Victoria's Secret, Leslie Wexner, The Wrap has reported.
Billionaire and former Microsoft executive Nathan Myhrvold also penned a note, alongside attorney Alan Dershowitz and the former executive of Microsoft, Nathan Myhrvold, The Irish Sun states.
This Thursday, US Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche reportedly claimed to have met with Ghislaine Maxwell. His move comes on the heels of the Justice Department's pledge for increased transparency, stemming from the intense backlash over the administration's earlier decision to withhold further records in the investigation.
Attorney David Oscar Markus told reporters in a statement after the meeting that same day:
“Ms Maxwell answered every single question. She never stopped, she never invoked a privilege, she never declined to answer. She answered all the questions truthfully, honestly and to the best of her ability."
In a post on social media on Tuesday, Blanche recalled Trump telling "us to release all credible evidence." Furthermore, he said that if Maxwell had added information about anyone linked to the case, both the FBI and the Justice Department “will hear what she has to say.”
