Country music singer Morgan Wallen is under fire yet again. This time, it seems the musician has worn out his welcome with two of his role models and industry stalwarts, Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan.

According to RadarOnline, sources close to the situation have asserted that both Shelton and Bryan have grown weary of Wallen’s antics,

"It's sad for Blake because Morgan has been his protégé. He will always have a soft spot for him and hopes Morgan turns it around.”

The sources went on to add,

"Blake feels tough love is what Morgan needs. Nothing else has worked. Luke is in total agreement. Luke took Morgan under his wing years ago and tried to advise him on how to stay out of trouble, but then this happened and he's pretty disgusted."

Morgan Wallen first crossed paths with Blake Shelton when he appeared as a contestant on The Voice in 2014. Wallen struck up a relationship with Luke Bryan after serving as the opening act on Bryan's tour in 2018.

Morgan Wallen - Neisha Bautista incident and more

Morgan Wallen has unfortunately fallen into a pattern of erratic and unadvisable behavior. The most recent example of his recklessness occurred on September 5, while on the second night of his "I'm The Problem" tour stop in Ontario. Known for his extravagant entrances, Morgan Wallen arranged to walk out with hometown legend and ex-Toronto Blue Jays star, José Bautista.

While walking through the tunnel towards the show alongside the local legend, Morgan Wallen attempted to re-create José Bautista’s iconic bat flip from the 2015 American League Division Series. Unfortunately, at the end of his tribute, Wallen threw the bat to complete the celebration and struck José’s wife, Neisha Bautista, who was filming nearby.

While this could be viewed as an honest mistake, it speaks to a careless and impulsive nature that has come to be seen as Wallen’s signature. In 2021, his content was removed from over 400 radio stations across the United States for using a racial slur in a video that later surfaced on social media. At the time, he shared the following statement via TMZ,

"I used an unacceptable and inappropriate racial slur that I wish I could take back. There are no excuses to use this type of language, ever. I want to sincerely apologize for using the word. I promise to do better."

It seems as though Morgan Wallen just cannot shake off negative publicity at the moment.
