The murder case of Celeste Rivas that has been linked to singer D4vd has taken yet another sharp turn. TMZ has reported that a new photo of the Romantic Homicide singer is going viral. It dates back to July 2024, and purportedly shows the singer smiling with a girl behind him, turned to her side. A professional took the photo at a house party, and although the girl is covering her mouth with her hand, fans have been speculating that it could be the late Rivas. In it, her red hair is let loose under a black and gold durag, though her face is obscured. Several witnesses reportedly confirmed to the outlet that the girl in question was Rivas. Everything we know about the latest developments in Celeste Rivas' case as reports suggest she was dating D4vd: Celeste Rivas' body was discovered in the front trunk of D4vd's Tesla just last month. As of this writing, investigations are still ongoing, and while the singer has not been named a suspect, further details remain scarce, including her cause of death. Complex has reported, however, that Rivas' body had "very likely" been decomposing for "several weeks" by the time she was found. The International Business Times has reported that the 'Here With Me' singer and Rivas were in a romantic relationship before she died, prompting investigators to look at the former's Hollywood home. He abruptly vacated the property days after Rivas' body was discovered on September 8, 2025. The house is located two blocks away from the impound lot. The Sun has since reported that private investigator Stephen Fischer, who dabbles mainly with missing persons cases, said he found "sadistic" materials at D4vd's home. He said that while they are not illegal, they raise concerns. He also claimed that there were things at the residence that were out of place: "There were multiple of these items that could all be used together, heavy-duty tools and machinery you'd never need in a Hollywood Hills home. You'd be more likely to find them on a farm. I don't know what impact these items could have on the overall narrative, if any," he remarked. "They are things that you could use to get rid of a person if you wanted to. People say, 'Oh, it's got to be tools and stuff.' It's beyond that, it's really sadistic stuff," he added." Celeste Rivas had been reported missing several times last year by her family from her home in Lake Elsinore, California. She was reportedly last seen alive in January this year. As for D4vd, he has since axed the remaining dates of his tour and indefinitely postponed the release of his deluxe album, Withered. Stay tuned to SoapCentral for more.
