Rapper Jonathan Porter, known by his stage name Blueface, is speculated to be released from prison. The internet was reportedly left buzzing after his mother, Karlissa Saffold, shared a series of stories on her Instagram on October 2. In one story, Jonathan's son, Javaughn, comes near someone who is wrapped up in covers. While it is unclear who is under the sheets, Karlissa (@karlissa_angelic) says,

"Your dad threw them all off didn’t he?”

According to Shade Room, Karlissa followed it up with another post, thanking god. While it is unclear if the artist has been officially released from prison, Karlissa's posts suggested that it may be much sooner than expected.

Viral post by Blueface's mother sparks speculation about the former's release from prison

Blueface's mother has reportedly indicated that her son has been released from prison. She took to her Instagram on October 2 and wrote a post implying her son was already out and would visit his father the following day. She wrote in the caption,

"Don't be mad Big John, he will see you tomorrow."

According to sources, the rapper was served a four-year sentence in August 2024 after he allegedly violated a probation linked to a 2021 assault of a security guard. However, in an October interview with TMZ, Porter's mother indicated that he may be out earlier than expected. She noted,

"Well, today I got a call and I can't tell you exactly cause he's like, 'Don't be telling my exact date, but we're down to the last stretch. We're days away. I have the coming home party. Make sure you guys get your tickets for the celebrity Blueface coming home party. I'm going to be picking him up with his kids. His girlfriend got us a limo, so you know I'm excited. I'm excited for new beginnings."

While XXL magazine reported that he isn't eligible for parole until December 2025, his mother indicated otherwise. She told TMZ about his plans on focusing on fatherhood and added,

"Moving forward, hes going to have to be fully accountable for his decisions. Im going to hold him accountable. His dad is going to hold him accountable. And we know who those people are. Well just remind him, and hell have to make that decision."

Blueface's mother has seemingly teased his fans about his prison release. However, no official confirmation has been made. The rapper has also not disclosed the potential release on social media platforms.
