A second suspect has come up in the Celeste Rivas death case, which involved the singer D4vd.

David Anthony Burke, known professionally as D4vd, has been linked to the Celeste Rivas death case ever since the body of the young girl was discovered in his Tesla. The investigations into the case had made him the prime suspect.
However, now there seems to be another suspect. In a new episode of TMZ's 2 Angry Men podcast, Mark Geragos revealed that law enforcement has done an impressive job in connecting dots using cellphone data, Tesla data, and location data from social media. He stated that according to the police, a second suspect could be connected to Celeste Rivas "before, during, and after" her death.
Along with this, Mark and his cohost, Harvey Levin, have claimed that D4vd's Santa Barbara County trip, which was late at night, is an important focal point in the case. According to the information they collated from different sources and through what officials believe, the second suspect and Celeste Rivas' body could have been in the car at the time.
A police source told PEOPLE magazine that the singer has been uncooperative since the body was discovered in his car in September 2025. They also stated that the Here with Me singer, who is the prime suspect, has still not been interviewed by the police.
"We are working to determine if her death was a murder or something else," a police source says.
They added, "Springtime is the closest weâve come to determining the time of her death. Not before then."
The investigation is being treated as a homicide as the girl's body was found inside a plastic bag, decomposing.
