NewJeans is returning to their original company, ADOR, after the group lost the lawsuit against the management company. For the unversed, NJZ announced its separation from HYBE-owned ADOR last year. Following the confirmation of NewJeans resuming their affiliation with ADOR, Min Heejin released a statement. She said it was difficult for the K-pop group to go back to ADOR after the lawsuit. However, Heejin acknowledged the group's decision with repect.

"Yesterday’s decision for the members to return was a difficult choice made by them after serious thought and consideration. I respect and will support that decision. There were difficulties, but I cherish the courage of the members who have decided to hold hands together again to protect each other.”

Min Heejin also talked about her plans following NewJeans' return to their original label.

“I can start afresh anywhere. However, I think NewJeans should remain as a whole, as five members, no matter the situation. I hope that the members will become stronger, that NewJeans will grow into an even better group, and most of all, that all five members are happy."

NewJeans and ADOR released statements amid the girl group’s return

On Wednesday, Minji, Hanni, and Danielle announced they were returning to ADOR, joining Haerin and Hyein, who had already decided to stay with the company. The members mentioned they had thought carefully about their choice before making it public.

NJZ and ADOR released statements about their official reunion. They noted that they took the step after thorough deliberations. The group reaffirmed their commitment to music and their fans.

"After careful discussions, we have decided to return to ADOR. One member is currently in Antarctica, which caused some delay in communication. As we have not received a response from ADOR, we are announcing this separately. We will continue to meet our fans with sincere music and performances."

The HYBE-owned label also issued an update related to Hyein and Haerin's decision to continue their activities with the agency.

“We at ADOR would like to inform you. NewJeans members Hyein and Haerin have expressed their intention to continue their activities with ADOR. After careful consideration with their families and thorough discussions with ADOR, the two members have made the decision to respect the court's ruling and comply with the exclusive contract." ADOR stated.

They further added:

"ADOR will do its utmost to ensure that Hyein and Haerin can continue their entertainment activities smoothly. We kindly ask for the warm support of our fans and respectfully request that you refrain from any unfounded speculation regarding the members. Thank you."

The girl group made their debut three years back under ADOR. The K-pop group's commercially successful singles like Hype Boy and Attention gained them fame.

NewJeans started legal proceedings to nullify their contracts with ADOR last year. In response, the agency filed a lawsuit to validate the contracts. The case was brought before the Seoul Central District Court and the verdict was delivered last month. The ruling came in favour of the company and upheld the validity of the girl group's contracts with the agency.
