Media personality Candace Owens has been lashing out at Ben Shapiro since the latter slammed her on the TPUSA AmericaFest stage. On December 18, Shapiro addressed the audience at the annual AmFest and criticized Candace Owens for raising questions on Turning Point following Charlie Kirk's death.

In addition to Owens, Shapiro also slammed Tucker Carlson for hosting far-right activist Nick Fuentes on his show. He claimed that Charlie Kirk never liked Fuentes for his strong views. On December 19, when an X user shared a clip of Shapiro slamming Carlson, Candace Owens reacted to it and wrote:

"Charlie did not like Ben Shapiro. He loved Tucker."

As soon as Owens made this comment, a flurry of reactions followed. Netizens were divided over her claim.

Weeks before, the podcaster claimed that Charlie Kirk appeared in her dream and told her that he was betrayed. When on Friday, Owens claimed Kirk's relationship with Tucker Carlson and Ben Shapiro, a netizen commented:

"Did he tell you that in a dream?"

Internet divided as Candace Owens claims Charlie Kirk admired Tucker Carlson more than Ben Shapiro

A netizen challenged Candace Owens' claim and highlighted that Shapiro was listed as a speaker at last year's AmFest:

"Why was Ben a speaker at last years amfest then? Why did Charlie have him on his show multiple times? How many times have you been invited on his show? Oh right zero times... Quit trying to dictate Charlie’s life you wretched clown."

Another user blasted the Candace host and commented that Charlie Kirk's wife must have better insight than her:

"Charlie and Ben liked each other a lot. Stop pretending you have more insight than Charlie’s wife and business partners, of which you were neither."

An X user went on to claim that Candace Owens hated Kirk and cited Tim Pool's claims.

"Candace, you dummy. You HATED Charlie Kirk. Why haven’t you acknowledged Tim Pool’s claim that he has receipts proving you went around telling people how much you actually hated Charlie? And why haven’t you challenged Tim to release those receipts?"

However, there were many netizens who lashed out at Ben Shapiro for his sharp speech at Turning Point's annual event. A user commented:

"Ben is doing more to hurt his own cause than help it. He has allowed his personal feelings to corrupt his political message. Ben is doing more to hurt his own cause than help it. He has allowed his personal feelings to corrupt his political message."

Another internet user wrote:

"No matter how hard Ben tries, you can’t force people to like or believe you. Honestly glad he went because watching his fall has been enjoyable."

An X user questioned Turning Point for inviting people with contradictory thoughts to the same stage:

"Well @TPUSA seems to be unstable. They should just book speakers to fight each other in the ring WWE style."

Later in the day, Candace Owens went after Ben Shapiro in her podcast and made several accusations against him.
