Tony Buzbee, the attorney who has represented many people in lawsuits accusing Diddy of sexual misconduct, was called out by DJ Vlad on Piers Morgan Uncensored.
On July 9, VLADTV uploaded the video taken from the Piers Morgan Uncensored episode in which Vlad was seen saying,
"Tony Buzbee, at the end of the day, like he said, the defense talked to multiple people that he was representing that were suing, but they decided not to use any of them, which makes me think there wasn't any real credible real evidence that did anything wrong in the whole situation."
He added:
"The only person that filed a lawsuit that was used in this case was Cassie. And, there's over 100 lawsuits. So, what does that say? The lawsuits are all nonsense."
Cassie Ventura, Diddy’s ex-girlfriend, filed a lawsuit against the music mogul in 2023. As per CT Post, she accused him of forcing himself on her as well as hurting her physically during their relationship. According to ABC News, she also shared video evidence of the “freak-off” parties during his trial, which became an important part of the case.
Tony Buzbee replies to DJ Vlad's claims
After being called out by DJ Vlad, Buzbee replied:
"These cases that we've filed in New York are under a New York statute for sexual assault and sexual abuse; now, that's completely different from transportation for prostitution or for sexual trafficking and certainly has nothing to do with RICO."
He added:
"So, you just made this grand conclusion that the US Attorney talked to a few of these folks and decided they had no credibility. You are flat-out wrong in that respect."
The two continued to argue and call each other out throughout the segment. In the heat of the exchange, DJ Vlad questioned Tony Buzbee on whether he had won even a single lawsuit on behalf of the people he’s represented. When Buzbee pushed back, Vlad rephrased his question and asked how many cases Buzbee had won specifically against Diddy and Jay-Z.
In response, Buzbee snapped,
“None of them went to trial, knucklehead.”
At that point, Piers Morgan stepped in to calm the heated exchange, saying that the answers would become clear in time.
While some viewers supported DJ Vlad for questioning the credibility of the lawsuits, others backed Tony Buzbee, saying he was standing up for his clients and doing his job as a lawyer.
