Lil Duval has weighed in on Alicia Andrews' alleged involvement in Julio Foolio's murder as her trial rages on.

The rapper took to X to comment on Andrews' legal struggles with an ominous tweet:

"Y’all watching this foolio murder trial? This young girl don’t have a clue how much trouble she’s in.

Everything we know about Julio Fulio as Alicia Andrews' trial carries on:

Just this week, Alicia Andrews, the first of five to be charged in the murder of Julio Foolio, showed up in court for her trial. Jury selection kicked off on Monday, and her trial is ongoing in Hillsborough County.

She stands accused of working with Sean Gathright, Isaiah Chance Jr., Rashad Murphy, and Davion Murphy to follow the late Jacksonville rapper across several locations before ambushing him and killing him at a Tampa Holiday Inn in the summer of 2024. The shooting also left three others injured.

Police reportedly believe that the suspects were members of rival gangs who collaborated to execute the murder in Tampa. The late rapper, legally known as Charles Jones, was in town to celebrate his 26th birthday.

Prosecutors have reportedly conceded that Alicia Andrews was not part of any gang, so they have yet to determine her alleged motive in Jones' murder. They reportedly believe Jones was a member of a gang called 6 Block, which was openly feuding with Ace's Top Killers and 1200. The co-defendants in the case are all members of either of the latter two gangs.

Prosecutors claim Alicia Andrews traveled with her boyfriend to Tampa with the goal of murdering Julio Foolio. They also presented the jury with text exchanges that allegedly indicated she planned her trip to Tampa, and that her cell phone data confirmed she went there with her boyfriend. They said in court:

“They moved rapidly into their pre-planned positions, into their firing locations, and then they immediately unleashed a hellish onslaught, a precisely coordinated violence of action.”

They added:

“Sending a barrage, a wall of hot lead crashing into the only barriers between Charles Jones living and Charles Jones dying.”

Her defense attorneys reportedly tried to introduce evidence relating to domestic violence, though the presiding judge ruled against it, citing her ineligibility under Florida law.

Last year, shortly after Julio Foolio was murdered, the Tampa Police Department said in a statement:

“There are cameras here, and our officers are working to view all of the cameras and talk with people you know who might’ve seen anything or heard anything.”
